Adobe Flash Catalyst is a new tool which has been released recently by Adobe. It bridges the Flex and Flash world into one interaction tool. It connect CS 4 tools with each other, and off course it provides a very convenient way to connect developers and designers together. Therefor, now, designers can make GUI in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, then transform their artwork into functional user interface. Furthermore, you can create interactive prototype, which is quite important in development life cycle.
Anther thing I want to mention, unlike Flex, Flash Catalyst do not require learning any new language, it has an interactive interface, and it makes sure your creative vision is perfectly expressed.
